There are a wide range of free bloging platforms that are available for you to start blogging and using the free platofrms. they are really useful to get you familiar with writing online and get used to the technology and timing of posting. Ultimately if you want to continue it is best to have your own domain if you want to create a brand presence. Some of those available are

  • Wordpress The Wordpress.com community site has thousands of free blogs and allow you to create one really easily. It is a great service but is limited in that it does not allow you to install plugins and you are constrained to their themes. However it is a fantastic service and easy to use
  • Blogspot is a Google provided service that allows you to create a blog using your Google credentials and is one of the most popular blogging platoforms available.
  • Poseterous is one of the growing blogging platforms with is selling point is easy integration with e-mail. It has nice image and YouTube integration so allowing you post media easily.
