There are hundreds of different ones but don’t worry we just use 3 of the leading open source systems. Open Source is free software and in this case free doesn’t mean bad. It means reliable, well supported and upgraded with fixes and new features regularly. The ones we use are WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. These are all very user friendly and meet most of our customers needs out of the box.
WordPress is one of the most popular content management systems in the world and one of the reasons is its ease of use. It comes with tons of features and plugins to expand the power of your website. Once a plugin is installed you can do a lot of things that in the past would have taken a lot of development to accomplish. Most plugins are free to use and have powerful features out of the box.

WordPress and Drupal both come with excellent online documentation that is kept up to date as and when new releases come about.
