What is a Domain Name?

A Domain name is effectiely your web address like www.example.com.  You need a domain name to be registered to allow you to make your website live.  Contact us for advise on the best domain name to choose as it can make a difference to your business.  It also may make sense to register a .ie and a .com to make sure that nobody takes the domain name later.  We can register the domain name on your behalf.  you pay a yearly charge to keep or retain a domain name.  If you don’t pay the fee then you lose the domain name.  There are different prices for domain names depending on the extension.
you can register a domain yourself if you wish and with hosting we can use this to start your website design.
