We build, fix and run WooCommerce shops for Irish businesses. Your shop lives inside your WordPress site, on hosting you control, with no monthly platform fee and no limits on what it can be made to do.

Medals, trophies, crystal and club merchandise, engraved in Cork and delivered nationwide. A normal online shop on the surface, with a twist underneath: every club gets its own range.
Clubs send in their crest and the list of what they present each year, and those medals and trophies go up on the site so anyone in the club can order them directly. Shop, club ranges and quote requests all run from the one WooCommerce back end.
Visit rebelawards.ieNew shops, tired shops and shops that have stopped working. Most of our WooCommerce work starts with one of those three, and plenty start with a phone call on a bad day.
Design, products, payments, shipping and VAT, built on a lean theme and set up so the shop is ready to take orders the day it opens.
Broken checkouts, plugin conflicts, failed updates and orders that stopped arriving. We find the cause, fix it, and stop it happening again.
Slow WooCommerce shops lose sales. We trim plugins, optimise images and the database, and move the shop to hosting that can handle it.
WooCommerce hostingPayments, couriers, accounts packages, stock systems and email marketing, connected properly. Custom functionality where no plugin fits.
We build on both, so we have no reason to push you one way. Here's how we usually call it on the first chat.

Ask which suits youWooCommerce out of the box is built for an American shop. Most of the DIY shops we're asked to fix fall down in the same four places.
Stripe, PayPal, Global Payments, Realex and Revolut, set up and tested with live transactions before launch. No gateway is chosen until we know your bank and margins.
Shipping zones and weight rules for An Post, DPD, Fastway and GLS that charge the customer what delivery actually costs you.
Irish VAT rates, zero-rated goods, B2B pricing and the EU OSS rules set up in WooCommerce before the first order, not after the first VAT return.
Local pickup alongside delivery, for shops that trade from a premises as well as online. Rebel Awards runs both from the one shop.
Whether you're moving onto WooCommerce, off it, or just trying to get a broken shop taking orders again, the work follows the same four steps. Nothing is done on your live shop until it's been tested.
Moving shops? Every product, category and blog URL is mapped first and redirected permanently, so the search traffic you've earned comes with you. More in our guide to migrating to WooCommerce.

Straightforward shops start from €900. Bigger builds, migrations and anything that has to talk to your other systems are quoted against a written scope.
The number of products and how clean the data is, any migration from another platform, the payment and delivery options you need, and anything custom, like club ranges, trade pricing or a stock system feed.
A written scope, a fixed quote against it, and an honest answer if your budget and the work don't line up. We'll say so before we take a deposit.

A straightforward shop starts from €900. Larger catalogues, migrations and custom functionality are quoted against a written scope, and you get a fixed price before any work starts. Our guide to what a WooCommerce store really costs covers the running costs too.
The plugin itself is free. You pay for hosting, a domain, and any premium plugins or extensions the shop needs. There is no monthly platform fee and no cut of your sales, which is the main difference from Shopify.
WooCommerce suits you if you want control, already run WordPress, or sell something unusual. Shopify suits you if you want the simplest possible setup and are happy paying monthly. We build both and will tell you which fits on the first call. There's more in our Shopify or WooCommerce guide.
No. WooCommerce is a WordPress plugin, so your shop always runs inside a WordPress site. We explain why that is usually an advantage in this FAQ.
Stripe and PayPal are the most common, and Global Payments, Realex and Revolut all work too. We pick one based on your bank and your fees, then test it with live transactions. See our guide to WooCommerce payment gateways.
Usually, yes. The usual causes are too many plugins, unoptimised images, a heavy theme or cheap hosting. We find which it is and fix that first. Our guide to speeding up WooCommerce covers the basics if you want to start yourself.
Yes. Broken checkouts, failed updates and half-finished DIY shops are some of the most common jobs we take on. We work on a staging copy, so your live shop keeps trading while we fix it.
That's the main thing we plan around. Every product, category and blog URL is mapped to its new address and redirected permanently. Our guide on migrating to WooCommerce walks through how.
WooCommerce is a good base for SEO because product and category pages are fully editable. We set up the structure, titles and schema at launch, and ongoing SEO is available after. See our WooCommerce SEO guide.
Yes. WooCommerce shops need updates, backups and security monitoring, and our maintenance plans cover all three. Ongoing SEO, product content and campaigns are available too.
Most of our clients are outside Cork: Dublin, Galway, Limerick and further afield. None of them have needed to come to the office.
Tell us what you sell and where the shop is now: live, broken, half-built, or still an idea. We'll come back with an honest read on whether we're the right fit, and what it's likely to cost.
Most enquiries get a reply the same day.
