The number of pages, whether the copy needs writing, and whether you are selling online all affect the quote. So does how far the design moves from the template, and whether you need extras like payment and form integrations, custom code or connections to other tools.
Template or custom design
Everyone starts from the same handful of Squarespace templates, which is why so many sites look alike. Paying a designer is mostly about making the site look like your business and building pages around what your customers search for, not around the template.
Ongoing costs
Your Squarespace subscription is paid to Squarespace directly. If you would rather not handle updates yourself after launch, our Squarespace support plans start from €65 a month with no contract.
